Construction Begins on State-of-the-Art Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility in Tampa

TAMPA, FL - PinPoint Commercial, LP and Thrive Senior Living announced the beginning of construction on a state-of-the-art assisted living and memory care facility in North Tampa, Florida: The Legacy at Highwoods Preserve.

The expansive new facility will contain 164 beds, with 120 devoted to assisted living and the other 44 for memory care. In all of their assisted living projects, PinPoint and Thrive include hallmark design features such as telemedicine suites, oversized rooms, libraries, gaming areas, and multiple courtyards, shops and beauty salons for residents and visitors.

“We’re thrilled to bring the advantages of a Legacy facility to the high-growth Tampa market,” said Charles Turner, Principal of PinPoint Commercial. “The Legacy at Highwoods Preserve is a special project, designed with both residents and family members in mind. Our residents’ physical and mental health depends on their families, so the whole facility will include special touches for encouraging multi-generational relationships, both in house and with video conferencing technology.”

PinPoint and Thrive hold a strategic partnership with LG, one of the world’s leading technology companies. The partnership allows the companies to develop a variety of solutions uniquely tailored to the needs of the assisted living industry.

“The Legacy at Highwoods Preserve will be equipped with every technology we have ever wanted to deploy,” said Tod Petty, President of Thrive Senior Living. “The building infrastructure focuses on technology for creating efficiencies to help assist our team and enhance residents’ quality of life. Our relationship with LG will allow us to implement the next generation of resident care.”

Construction is expected to be complete by the fall of 2014.
