Miller-Valentine Group Announces the Grand Opening of Carriage Trails Senior Villas

HUBER HEIGHTS, OH - Miller-Valentine Group partnered with St. Mary Development Corporation, Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing, Nationwide Investments, the Ohio Finance Agency, Key Bank, and DEC Land Co, LLC. Carriage Trails Senior Villas is a brand new community of villas with garages designed and built specifically for residents age 55 and older. Each of the 34 homes has the look and feel of a luxury apartment, made possible by federally funded, state managed tax credits. It is the first senior villas community of its kind in Miami County.

Carriage Trails Senior Villas demonstrates the value of the federal housing tax credit program on numerous levels. Primarily, it delivers high quality affordable housing for adults 55 and older who currently have limited or no affordable housing options. Furthermore, it has boosted the local economy by creating 36 new jobs and generating over $2.7 million in income and taxes for the local economy.

Dave Liette, President of Miller-Valentine Residential Development, said that the company is excited to bring its expertise in high quality, affordable housing to the Tipp City and Huber Heights area. Liette explained, “Carriage Trails allows Miller-Valentine Group to serve the growing aging population of northern Montgomery County and Southern Miami County by providing outstanding, brand new villas at a very affordable price. We are enthusiastic and privileged to have an opportunity to positively impact their lives.”
