First Coast Apartment Association Salutes the Best of the Best at Circle of Excellence Awards Gala

JACKSONVILLE, FL – Fort Family Investments was named winners for Property Management Company and for Volunteer Spirit of the Year by the First Coast Apartment Association (FCAA) during their annual Circle of Excellence (COE) Awards Gala held last week at the Florida Theater.

Regional Property Manager honors went to Carey Dougherty of ZRS Management.

The semi-formal, Gatsby themed event honored FCAA members who achieved the highest level of service and commitment to the apartment industry and residents in 2018.

Sola South Lux was honored as Luxury Community of the Year. Sola South Lux’s Roger Lloyd was Conventional Leasing Specialist of the Year. St. Johns Pointe’s Jackie Gill was Conventional Community Manager of the Year.

The Lighthouse at Fleming Island won for Conventional Community of the Year. The community’s Jamie Rodriguez was Rookie Leasing of the Year.

The FCAA Award for New Construction Community of the Year and Eco-Friendly Community of the Year went to Cassie Gardens. The property’s Desiray Walton was Affordable Assistant Manager of the Year.

The Lofts at LaVilla for Affordable Community of the Year and Best Curb Appeal.

The Lofts took home multiple awards including Nelson Hernandez, Affordable Maintenance Technician of the Year; Nicole Brown, Affordable Leasing Specialist of the Year and Vadim Shegelski, Affordable Maintenance Supervisor of the Year.

WRH Realty’s Michelle Lawrence Corporate Employee of the Year. WRH also won for Best Use of Social Media.

Associate Company of the Year was Affinity Waste Solutions with Cole Dew Rookie Supplier of the Year. Arbor Contract Carpet’s Danielle Stacy was Associate Employee of the Year.

Leigh Meadows Apartments’ Pamela Floyd was Affordable Community Manager of the Year and Ernesto Pardo was named Groundskeeper/Housekeeper of the Year.

Hunters Ridge at Deerwood’s Christopher Lloyd was Conventional Maintenance Supervisor of the Year and Kristen Wheat was Conventional Assistant Manager of the Year. Mohammed Allban of Courtney Meadows was Conventional Maintenance Technician of the Year.

The Cove at Atlantic Beach won for Best Rehab/Renovations of the Yea. The Reserve at Nocatee was spotlighted for Conventional Curb Appeal of the Year.

All Weather Contractors 2019 Best Trade Show Booth was recognized for 2019 Best Trade show Booth. Brookwood Club won for Service Team of the Year.

FCAA is governed by a Board of Directors responsible for setting policy, planning, and ensuring the financial soundness of the association.

The staff is led by Lindsey McClain, FCAA Executive Vice President, Taylor Tucker, Director of Special Events and Cory Luster is Director of Education and Membership.
