Sales for Boutique Condominium Building Eveq in Chicago’s West Loop are Now Underway

CHICAGO, IL - The developers of Eveq, a boutique condominium community of 32 residences in Chicago’s West Loop, have announced the start of sales ahead of a formal groundbreaking in March. Located at 14 N. Bishop St., between Washington Boulevard and Madison Street, the five-story community is being built on land owned by the Chicago Pipefitters Local Union 597, which has owned the property – adjacent to its hall – since 1986. Delivery is expected in third-quarter 2020, with @properties serving as the exclusive sales brokerage.

“The developers recognized the potential of this site and decided it was time to move forward with a quality, union-built development that will bring much-needed for-sale housing to this corner of the West Loop,” said Cyndy Salgado, executive vice president of development sales for @properties. “Given the anticipated demand for these homes, which benefit from their proximity to leading employers like Google and McDonald’s, construction is scheduled to begin almost immediately, allowing buyers to move in much faster than is typical for new construction.”

Designed by Sullivan Goulette & Wilson Architects, with interiors by Michelle Vance Design, Eveq will feature spacious three- and four-bedroom plans ranging in size from 1,500 to 2,300 square feet and priced from $795,000. Each residence will include floor-to-ceiling windows and hardwood flooring throughout the open living and dining areas, with buyers able to choose from seven color options. Buyers can also make selections for custom Italian cabinetry in both kitchens and baths. In addition, kitchens will include quartz countertops and stainless steel Thermador and Bosch appliances, while spa-inspired master baths will feature a double-bowl vanity, water closet, porcelain tile shower with frameless glass door, and Kohler fixtures.

All homes at Eveq offer a large terrace or balcony designed as an extension of the living area, as well as a dedicated mud/laundry room. Top-floor units will have access to private rooftop terraces. Select three-bedroom plans also include a study that can function as an office or homework nook.

“Eveq will appeal to a wide variety of buyers ranging from young professionals working in the West Loop and Illinois Medical District to growing families looking for city residences close to great schools and parks,” said Salgado.

Residences at Eveq are located on floors two through five, with a total of eight units per floor for added privacy. Eveq’s first level will include deeded garage parking, as well as nearly 5,700 square feet of retail space.

Eveq is steps from award-winning schools including Skinner West Elementary School and Whitney Young High School. The community is also a short walk from several parks, the United Center and public transportation, with the CTA’s Green and Pink lines accessible via the nearby Ashland station.
