Kaplan recently sold 240 units in the Sugar Land, TX area located 15 miles south of Houston. Kaplan had owned the property for seven years before selling to a local investment group.
Kaplan Acquisitions LLC, headed by Ken Steidley, recently acquired a 256 unit apartment complex in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and plans call for additional acquisitions. Also acquired was the balance of the Royalton high-rise condominium complex, a for sale product, near the CBD of Houston.
Kaplan Development has currently broken ground on a 215 unit development in Austin, TX, The District at SoCo; completion is slated for early Fall 2012.
