UIP General Contracting Expands Management Team

WASHINGTON, DC - Peter Shkreli has joined UIP General Contracting, Inc. (UIPGC) of Washington, D.C. as Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining UIPGC, he served as Vice President of Construction at Progress Builders, LLC of Myrtle Beach, SC, where he managed the design, development and construction of over 600 multifamily units in North and South Carolina. He holds a BBA degree in Management from James Madison University. Pete is excited to be managing the operations and execution of the construction process and to continue to help UIPGC provide exceptional value and excellent customer service to its clients.

At the same time, Health Wilkinson was promoted to President of UIPGC. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Development and Construction for Urban Investment Partners of Washington, D.C. Heath's primary responsibilities will be to identify new strategic growth opportunities for UIPGC and UnitTurnsTM, a subsidiary of UIPGC providing multifamily property managers with a one-stop solution for multi-family make-ready services. Another focus will be to expand the third-party operations of UIPGC and UnitTurnsTM.

Before joining UIP, Heath held the position of Vice President of Development with Redbrick Partners of Washington, D.C., where he managed the redevelopment of 850 multifamily units and managed the entitlement and design of mixed-use projects in the Washington, D.C. market with an aggregate value of $150 million. Prior to Redbrick, Heath managed building and selling over $1billion worth homes at NVR, Inc, Ryan Homes.

UIPGC has completed over $50 million worth of successful renovations for Urban Investment Partners and other 3rd party clients in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
