WASHINGTON, DC - UIP Property Management, Inc. (UIPPM) of Washington, D.C., a subsidiary of Urban Investment Properties (UIP), has expanded its staff with seven new hires in order to provide improved property management services to UIP’s growing portfolio of rental apartments and condominiums in the Washington metropolitan area. The new hires are:
Stephanie Barbabosa - Senior Property Manager joins UIPPM after nine years with Alliance Residential and University Glen Corp, where she directed the operations of more than 900 student housing units. With 19 years of experience, she holds the RPM accreditation (Registered Property Manager) issued by IREM.
Chelsea Jones - Property Manager has been a Property Manager for both tax credit and market-rate properties for over six years, working for such firms as Edgewood Management, AIMCO, Horning Brothers and Clark Realty.
Lissette Castellon - Property Manager, a 14-year property management veteran, joins UIP after eight years with MPM Management, where she managed a portfolio of Washington, D.C. properties.
Elana C. Price - Resident Services Coordinator – Accounting joins UIPPM after more than eight years as a staff accountant for BECO, KCI Management and Woodmont Properties. She will support property management administrative and accounting functions and respond to residents’ accounting questions.
Carla McKenzie - Resident Services Coordinator – Accounting has over 15 years of property management and customer service experience, having worked nine years at Realty Management Services. Carla will focus on resident accounting, collections, and other resident issues.
Vanessa George - Resident Services Coordinator worked for over ten years in office management and customer-service for a high-profile medical practice in Washington, D.C. before joining UIPPM In her new role, she will be UIP’s lead resident services coordinator for Spanish-speaking residents.
Carleigh Smith - Leasing/Administrative Assistant, with a background in retail sales and customer service, will assist UIPPM with leasing, advertising, and other resident service functions.
