REDICO Wins Top Market-Rate Senior Housing Development Award at MFE Awards

SOUTHFIELD, MI - REDICO, a national real estate development and investment company, is pleased to announce it has won the 2017 Market Rate Senior Housing Development Grand Award from the Multifamily Executive (MFE) Awards. The company received the top honor for its American House Coconut Point development in Estero, Florida.

Now in its 16th year, the MFE Awards honors the apartment industry’s best projects, people and programs in 21 different categories. Approximately 370 projects were submitted this year.

Opened during the summer of 2016, American House Coconut Point features 194 independent living, assisted living and memory care apartments across 14 acres.

Expanding on current design trends, REDICO and Florida-based architectural firm PQH Group, collaborated to create a contemporary community overlooking a private, three-acre lake. Some of the design features include a stunning four-story atrium with tranquil water feature, lush courtyards, scenic walking paths, heated outdoor swimming pool, putting green, shuffle board and bocce courts and much more.
