J Turner tracks the online reputation of more than 1,100 properties in the student housing market across various review sites to determine ORA™ scores for each property. The ORA™ score is an aggregate compilation of a property's ratings across multiple review sites. The ranking was announced in association with J Turner Research’s media partner Multifamily Executive.
The student housing average ORA™ score, at 58.51, is marginally below the national average of 58.69. The Printing House (NY), managed by Peak Campus, is the number one student housing property in the nation, with an ORA™ score of 95. Campus Circle (IL), also managed by Peak Campus, ranks second, with an ORA™ of 94. Progress 405 (OK), managed by Cardinal Group, ranks third, with an ORA™ of 92. ORA™ Methodology
The ORA™ score is an aggregate compilation of a property's ratings across various review sites. Each month, J Turner Research monitors the online ratings of more than 67,000 properties nationwide. Using a statistical model, a single ORA™ score based on a scale of 0 to 100 is assigned to each property. This score serves as a benchmark to compare and contrast a company’s individual properties and portfolios nationally, regionally, and against the competition.
