SILVER SPRING, MD- Victory Crossing Senior Apartments, a new senior apartment community located off Route 29 in the White Oak area, has started to build its inquiry list for an expected opening in Spring 2018. Victory Crossing will provide a mix of affordable and market rate one- and two- bedroom apartments for seniors.
Victory Crossing will offer a mix of affordable and market-rate one- and two- bedroom apartments for seniors, as well as an abundance of amenities including a fitness center, wellness room, arts and crafts studio, billiards room, library, and community room with aquarium. In addition, a dynamic calendar of social events and activities will be planned for residents’ enjoyment. The thoughtfully designed apartment homes will feature walk-in closets, washer and dryer, and different floor plans to contribute to an active, healthy lifestyle. Victory Crossing is conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, health facilities, a county senior center and public library, and places of worship.
Ninety-five of the 105 apartments will be reserved as affordable housing units based on household income, include 10 apartments available to households at or below 40% of area median income, 21 apartments at or below 50% of area median income, 64 apartments at or below 60% of area median income and the remaining 10 apartments to be leased at market rates. Handicap accessible apartments will also be available.
Victory Crossing is being developed by Victory Housing, Inc. which specializes in owning and operating affordable senior housing in the Washington, DC area. The community will be professionally managed by Habitat America, LLC, an experienced property management company based out of Annapolis that has served the mid-Atlantic region for over 25 years.
