Nathan S. Collier and Danny Gaekwad Break Ground on New 304-Unit Community in Ocala, Florida

OCALA, FL - The Collier Companies’ (TCC) founder and chairman, Nathan S. Collier, and Danny Gaekwad entrepreneur and owner of DG Hospitality, celebrated their partnership and new community, Canterbury Circle, at a ground breaking ceremony Wednesday. The ceremony began at 5:30p.m. behind the Holiday Inn and Suites.

Over 80 guests and companies from central and South Florida attended the event. After short speeches by Mr.Gaekwad, Mr. Collier, and John Wiseman, President of Core Construction, the three men joined executives from each of their companies and VIPs to break ground. Photos were followed by a reception with drinks and light hors d'oeuvres in the ballroom of the Holiday Inn and Suites. The ballroom featured renderings of Canterbury Circle’s planned buildings, amenities, and floorplans.

Canterbury Circle is a multifamily residential apartment community to open in 2018. It will be comprised of 304 units in 20 residential buildings. Canterbury Circle will offer eight different floor plans featuring modern appliances, walk-in closets, and a patio or balcony. Select units have additional features including wood flooring. Some of Canterbury Circle’s planned community amenities include a Tesla charging station, pool with outdoor kitchen, pet walk, state-of-the-art fitness center, and 10,085 square foot clubhouse with a coffee bar, lounge, and clubroom.

The Collier Companies owns and manages over 10,532 apartment units in the states of Florida, Georgia, and Oklahoma. Canterbury Circle will be the third apartment community owned and managed by The Collier Companies in Ocala, Florida.
