Holland Residential Purchases 1,054-Units in Northwest

VANCOUVER, WA – Holland Residential, a branch of the Holland Partner Group, continues to expand its Pacific Northwest portfolio with the purchase of the 512-unit Taluswood in Mountlake Terrace, WA, the 254-unit Cedar Crest in Beaverton, OR and the 288-unit MonteVista at Murrayhill also in Beaverton, OR. The purchase totals 1,054-units.

“All three assets are strategically located within 15 minutes of their respected downtown business districts and major employers,” said Holland Acquisition Chief Operating Officer and Partner Eli Hanacek.  “The snapback of the Portland and Seattle markets in addition to the quality, amenities, finishes and achievable rent at each asset were the driving forces behind our pursuit of the deals,” states Hanacek.

Taluswood is easily accessible via I-5, I-405 and SR-104, which lead directly to large job centers in Seattle, Everett and Bellevue.  The property’s South Snohomish location is convenient and desirable, with commute time to downtown Seattle at just 15 minutes.  Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon.com, and University of Washington, to name a few, are all within 13 miles of Taluswood.

MonteVista at Murrayhill and Cedar Crest offer housing to residents who seek an attractive lifestyle and offers a viable alternative to those working outside of Portland’s Central Business District near employment powerhouses like Intel, Nike and Tektronix.  The adjacent bus line and Portland’s MAX light rail provide renters with a direct commute into the vibrant downtown Portland.  The properties are 20 miles from Holland Residential’s corporate office in Vancouver, WA and minutes from 2,800 plus units of Holland Portland, Beaverton and Hillsboro assets.
