BuildingLink.com Signs 1000th Building Client

NEW YORK, NY - Jerry Kestenbaum, CEO of BuildingLink.com announced today that the Parc Somerset in Chevy Chase, MD., managed by Zalco Realty Inc., has just become their one thousandth client.  Eleven years after launching its innovative management system in February 2000 the company continues to experience extraordinary growth, even during these economically challenging times, adding over 100 new buildings as customers since January of this year.  “We are grateful for the market’s acceptance of what we have created,” Kestenbaum says.  “I can hardly picture in my mind what 100 buildings looks like, let alone 1,000."

Kestenbaum continues:  “It’s a really noteworthy occasion, but for us it’s not just about the numbers, it’s about the relationships.  We stay closely involved with the day to day running of each of our client buildings and with the needs of their 10,000+ staff members who use our system.  I don’t know of any other company who does that.  I guess more important than saying we’ve signed a thousand buildings, is being able to say we’ve never lost one."

Michael Gubbins manages The Solaire, Manhattan’s premier green building in Battery Park City, as well as a host of others.  He has used BuildingLink for more than a decade and knows them well.     “I’m not surprised at their success,” he says. “They’re smart, friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated.  Their platform makes the complex business of luxury building management incredibly easy, and also creates a real sense of community among the residents."

BuildingLink services over half a million residents, living in 250,000 apartments, across 22 states and 5 countries, yet they do it all with a team of only 30 people.  So how did this small company get so big? Arthur Dubin, president of Zalco Realty Inc. puts it down to innovation.  “They just keep coming up with great ideas, the kind of ideas that make you wonder why no one ever thought of them before.”  He has a point: the release in early 2011 of their ground breaking GEO handheld controller, their biometric authentication server and their revolutionary KeyLink key security system promise to make 2011 a banner year for innovation at BuildingLink.

In a world of increasingly complex demands, where managers of residential properties are constantly under the gun to find simpler, more cost-effective tools with which to run their buildings and meet their residents’ ever-changing needs, at least 1000 buildings have found their magic bullet with BuildingLink.
