The Collier Companies Announces Acquisition of 228-Unity Multifamily Community in Ocala

GAINESVILLE, FL - The Collier Companies (TCC) announced its partnership with Apex One in the acquisition of Tuscany Place Apartments in Ocala, Florida. The Collier Companies became co-owner of Tuscany Place and took over the management from GrayCo Properties.

“The acquisition of Tuscany allows The Collier Companies to expand its portfolio in the attractive Ocala market with a high-quality community. It also allows us to work with a first-class partner in Apex One. Truly two birds with one stone!” said Andrew Hogshead, CEO of The Collier Companies.

Tuscany Place is a conventional housing property built in 1997. It is comprised of 288 units in 12 residential buildings. Tuscany Place offers six different floor plans featuring detached garages, high ceilings, and a patio or balcony. Select units have additional features including wood flooring and built-in entertainment centers. Some of Tuscany Place’s community amenities include a resort-style pool, pet walk, 24-hour fitness center, and two car wash areas with vacuums. The Collier Companies' veteran team member, Tricia Starling, will be the new Community Manager for the property.

The Collier Companies owns and manages 11,624 apartment units in the states of Florida, Georgia, and Oklahoma.
