GAINESVILLE, FL - The Collier Companies has announced its third partnership with Utah Retirement System. In an effort to help improve the property’s overall performance, The Collier Companies and Utah Retirement System decided to extend their partnership in taking over The Connection at Statesboro. On October 26, 2016, The Collier Companies officially took over the management of The Connection from Asset Management.
The Connection at Statesboro is a purpose-built student housing project in Statesboro, Georgia. It was built in 2007 with 840 beds comprised of one, two, three, & four bedroom apartments. Its luxury amenities include four resort-style pools with pool volleyball, 24-hour fitness center with television, private study rooms, and computer lab with free internet. The apartments include features such as a full size washer and dryer, individual bathrooms, and a breakfast bar. The Connection offers furnished and unfurnished apartments, roommate matching, and is pet friendly.
Utah Retirement System and The Collier Companies have also partnered on two other student housing properties: Polo Club Tallahassee in Florida, and Polo Club Athens in Georgia.
