Alliance Announces Southwest City Partner

PHOENIX (March 16, 2011) — Alliance Residential recognizes the value of its Associates and embraces the notion that their success as individuals is the backbone to our success as a company. As such, Alliance is pleased to announce the promotion of Ian Swiergol to City Partner for the Southwest region.

In this position, Mr. Swiergol will be responsible for sourcing new investments and managing Alliance's development process throughout Phoenix and Tucson. This includes originating and negotiating land purchases for development, managing the development and construction process, and overseeing the leasing and asset disposition activity for each investment. Prior to his promotion, Mr. Swiergol was a member of Alliance's asset management team. He will continue to play a key role in this aspect of operations.

Mr. Swiergol has nine years of investment, development and construction experience, with four years of experience specific to multifamily. He is a member of EC70, a charitable organization benefiting Executive Council Charities, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona. Mr. Swiergol also earned a Master's of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
