Alliance Residential Appoints Performance VP

PHOENIX (March 14, 2011) — Alliance Residential recognizes the value of its Associates and embraces the notion that their success as individuals is the backbone to its success as a company. As such, Alliance is pleased to announce the appointment of Tina Makssour as Vice President of Performance.

Ms. Makssour brings more than 13 years of experience in multifamily real estate, as well as a background in designing innovative programs that enhance employee performance, drive sales, and provide a unique customer experience focusing on brand recognition and loyalty.

Prior to joining Alliance, Ms. Makssour was the Director of Sales and Training for Mark-Taylor Residential. During her time with the company, she established Mark-Taylor University, launched a series of training courses, and executed a number of creative employee recognition programs and contests — all of which contributed to the company's overall success.

Ms. Makssour is an advocate for the development and implementation of new technology, and brings demonstrated skill in using social media as a tool for sales, informal learning and employee motivation. She also has a background in ancillary services, including resident screening, renter's insurance, lead management and corporate apparel. Ms. Makssour holds a Masters in Art History and Archaeology from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Education from the University of Phoenix. She is a Certified Apartment Manager through the National Apartment Association, is published in several professional journals and is a frequent speaker at industry events. Ms. Makssour also received the 2007 American Express "Leadership Spotlight Award."
