CAMBRIDGE, MA - Fuse Cambridge, a 244-unit luxury apartment community located adjacent to the Alewife Brook Reservation in Cambridge, MA, selected the winner of its “MyFuseFit” Social Media Photo Contest today, which kicked-off in January 2016. The contest encouraged Fuse Cambridge residents and area locals to digitally submit images of their favorite fitness routines that keep them healthy during the winter months. After reviewing numerous submissions, Tessa Bourgeois was named the winner for her inspirational lakeside fitness photo.
The “MyFuseFit” Social Media Photo Contest invited all interested participants to submit images to Fuse Cambridge’s Facebook, Instagram, and/or Twitter social media pages utilizing the #MyFuseFit hashtag for a chance to win. Tessa’s winning photo was selected for receiving the highest number of likes and shares across all social platforms, capturing her dedication to fitness and encouraging viewers to remain fit and healthy despite the challenging seasonal conditions.
“One of our top priorities at Fuse Cambridge, in addition to providing a premier living experience, is to promote and encourage healthy living for our residents and surrounding community,” said Nathan Lopez, Property Manager at Fuse Cambridge. “We were thrilled with the number of submissions for our “MyFuseFit” contest, and loved seeing examples of the area’s dedication to fitness even during the difficult winter. We will continue to reinforce this message inside and outside of our community in hopes of inspiring others to do the same.”
Notably, the “MyFuseFit” Social Media Photo Contest generated a significant amount of interest on social media channels, particularly Facebook, where over 20,000 impressions, 55 shares, and 1,505 clicks were captured. The contest reached a viral status during its final week, with Tessa receiving 366 total likes on her photo, and the second place finisher earning 238 likes.
In addition to awarding Tessa with a $250 Visa Gift Card and Fitbit Charge HRTM, Fuse Cambridge took the opportunity to make a donation to Ocean River Institute, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to saving wildlife and protecting ecosystems. Fuse Cambridge places a significant focus on the health of its residents through on-site amenities including a fitness center with cardio and strength training areas, an indoor bike storage area complete with a repair station, and a recently installed Living Green Wall, which provides natural air filtration, sound insulation, stress reduction, and thermal regulation.
