Denver – Creativity for Rent, a national marketing and technology firm has acquired Multifamily Edge, an online marketing consultancy, and rebranded itself under the name Engrain. The new company will incorporate Creativity For Rent's award winning design and custom website development services and Multifamily Edge's demand generation expertise into an expanded suite of "user experience" services that include usability consulting, technology audits, user interface design services and custom website and software development. Engrain also plans to release several new marketing and business intelligence products throughout 2010.
As part of the transaction, multifamily industry veteran Jennifer Cyphers, President of Multifamily Edge, will become President of Engrain and take an equity position in the new company. Creativity for Rent's President, Brent Steiner, will assume the role of Engrain's CEO.
"Our goal has always been to create intuitive and natural user and brand experiences. There is tremendous opportunity to enhance and improve brand interactions through integration, improved usability and streamlined processes," explained Engrain's CEO, Brent Steiner. "We are well positioned to lead early adopters forward with their technology initiatives. The industry is ready for some change."

The company, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, plans to add several employees by the end of the year.
