The three-story building contains 54,000 SF of gross building area and is currently in need of a full rehabilitation.  The property was previously planned for 32 condominiums.

Situated on the northwest corner of Wabash Avenue and 26th Street, the property is located one block from Mercy Hospital & Medical Center and is within walking distance of McCormick Place, the largest convention center in the United States.  In addition, Kissel Kar Lofts is within close proximity to The Illinois Institute of Technology, The Illinois College of Optometry, Soldier Field and the Museum Campus.  The property’s convenient location offers easy access to I-55, I-90, I-94, I-290, Lake Shore Drive, the CTA Red Line (Cermak-Chinatown Station), the McCormick Place Metra Station and numerous CTA bus stops. 

The sale price was $1,500,000.
