BURBANK, CA — Vintage Burbank hosted a VIP reception to celebrate the opening of a luxurious 8-story residence designed for independent and assisted living programs. Festivities included a ribbon-cutting ceremony with The City of Burbank Mayor, Anja Reinke. More than 250 guests attended along with the Burbank Chamber Ambassadors and Victor Regnier, professor of USC School of Architecture and the Leonard David School of Gerontology. Chef Lisa Johnson catered an abundant offering of gourmet appetizers and desserts. At the end of the evening, each guest was given a signature bottle of "Vintage" Cabernet and was delightfully surprised by a gift-wrapped batch of freshly baked cookies, waiting for them in their car.
Vintage Burbank teamed up with leading architects Tim Wilkes and Doug Pancake, (a creator in innovative care environments), along with top interior design firm—Design Tec, Inc., to give the residence a contemporary California resort-style elegance with state-of-the-art technology. Included in the 102-unit residence is "Recollections," a specialized neighborhood dedicated to providing quality services for residents facing Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
Vintage Senior Living's emphasis is on "Living." This is captured in the ambience and personality of every interior and exterior space. Residents can enjoy the invigorating benefits of a gym, full-service beauty salon, deluxe private movie theatre, Internet café, library, bistro, fireside restaurant, conference room, and a putting green.
"We love this building as we do all of our buildings," said Brian Flornes, Founder and Co-CEO of Vintage Senior Living. "And we are proud of what we've accomplished—but we can never deliver on our commitments without professionalism and integrity in our actions—quality in our service—and compassion for those we serve."
