Western National Wins GEMM Awards

IRVINE, Calif. (May 13, 2010) – Western National Property Management, the multifamily property management division of Western National Group, was recently awarded multiple honors at the 10th Annual Greater Excellence in Management and Maintenance (GEMM) Awards hosted by the South Coast Apartment Association.

"These awards reflect Western National's commitment to having the most highly skilled and best trained workforce in the industry," said Laura Khouri, President, for Western National Property Management. "From the community managers to the service managers, our associates take pride in their work and show consistently high levels of dedication and professionalism."

Western National Property Management winners include: Corsican Apartments, Community of the Year; Leslie Brobst, Community Manager of the Year; Anna Rzepka and Lauren Kovacs, Leasing Professionals of the Year; Juan Gutierrez and Jose Carrasco, Porter/Housekeepers of the Year.

Over 1,000 industry professionals attended the GEMM awards event, held at the Hilton Anaheim on April 22, 2010. The South Coast Apartment Association, a chapter of the California Apartment Association serving Orange and Southern Los Angeles Counties, is an advocate for an ethical and strong rental housing industry and a provider of education and services to enable its members to operate successfully.
