VALDOSTA, GA – Ambling Management Company, a national leader in student, affordable, multifamily and military housing, announced today that James “Hugh” Hodge, previously Executive Vice President, is named President of Ambling Management Company effective July 13, 2015.

Mr. Hodge has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate/property management industry, including new development, property repositioning, property redevelopment and property sales and acquisitions. Prior to joining Ambling Management Company, Hodge was the Assistant Regional Vice President for AIMCO/Insignia Management Group. He also has held property management positions with the Paragon Group, Cornerstone Properties and The Berkley Group.
Mr. Hodge attended the University of South Carolina, where he majored in psychology and business administration. He is also a licensed real estate broker in North and South Carolina and holds Certified Property Manager (CPM), Certified Apartment Property and Certified Property Supervisor Instructor designations.
