Humphreys & Partners Architects Welcomes New Studio Director in Newport Beach Office

NEWPORT BEACH, CA - Humphreys & Partners Architects, LP is pleased to announce Daniel Gehman, AIA, LEED AP as Studio Director in the firm’s Newport Beach office.

As studio director, Daniel focuses on business development and the imagining of new projects at all scales, always pursuing a superlative synthesis of client vision and the pragmatic constraints of the built environment and marketplace.  He has devoted his energies over the last 15 years to the design of housing and mixed-use developments in all densities, settings, and prices, particularly in established urban centers.  Daniel’s specialty is blending market awareness with specific client expectations to craft unique project visions and narratives.  He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and is also an adjunct professor for USC’s Master of Real Estate Development program, where he teaches housing types and trends. Gehman received his Bachelors in Architecture from Cornell University.

Most recently, Gehman spoke on panels at PCBC in San Diego about apartment development, and he also spoke about emerging markets at Marcus & Millichap’s Multifamily Forum in Los Angeles.

“Daniel’s extensive background in design and business development make him an invaluable asset to our Newport Beach office,” said Mark Humphreys, CEO of Humphreys & Partners. “We are thrilled to have him on board.”
