Rainmaker Creates New Strategic Business Leadership Role, Names Derek Regier VP of Multifamily Sales

ATLANTA, GA – Rainmaker, the leading provider of revenue management and profit optimization solutions for the multifamily housing and gaming/hospitality industries, announces that Derek Regier has joined the company as Vice President of Multifamily Sales. Based in the Atlanta corporate headquarters, Regier will have responsibility for driving growth of all Rainmaker solutions into the multifamily housing market, including those recently acquired, and will leverage his deep industry relationships and leadership skills to build and lead a highly experienced Rainmaker sales team, with a goal of growing market share and company revenue.

A former sales leader at Oracle and Salesforce.com, Regier also was previously the vice president of global sales for Marietta, GA-based Riskonnect, Inc., a risk management and analytics software as a service firm. Regier was also Global BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Sales Manager for Cognos Corporation (acquired by IBM), and was the co-founder and President of Coaction Software. He has specialized in scaling analytic, performance management, and business intelligence software solutions to meet aggressive growth and market share capture goals.
