IRVINE, Calif. (March 17, 2010) –Western National Property Management, the multifamily property management division of Western National Group, was recently awarded top honors at the 11th Annual APEX Awards hosted by the Apartment Association Greater Inland Empire (AAGIE).
Jennifer Bedford of Western National Property Management received the Regional Manager of the Year award and the President's Award was given to Rashelle Nye, Community Manager for Western National at Santa Rosa Apartment Homes, in Wildomar, Calif.
"Jennifer and Rashelle exemplify Western National's dedication to the needs of our residents, our owners and our employees. This honor is well deserved," said Cindy Shepardson, Vice President of Operations for Western National Property Management.
Jennifer Bedford has served as Regional Manager for Western National since 2005 and currently oversees a total of 1,600 units throughout Orange County and the Inland Empire, in communities ranging from 50 to 448 units. Bedford's work on behalf of Western National was previously recognized when she was awarded the 2007 Regional Manager of the Year by the San Diego Apartment Association. She has also been recognized numerous times internally by Western National for her outstanding work. She currently serves as a mentor for new associates with Western National Group.
Since arriving at Santa Rosa Apartment Homes in November of 2007, Rashelle Nye helped to stabilize occupancy levels for the 320-unit property. Nye is a California Certified Residential Manager (CCRM) working towards her designation as a Certified Property Manager (CPM). The APEX President's Award recognizes Nye's commitment to volunteering within the rental housing industry as well as her service and support for various AAGIE committees.
The Apartment Association Greater Inland Empire, a chapter of the California Apartment Association, is an advocate for an ethical and strong rental housing industry and a provider of education and services to enable its members to operate successfully.
