Hundreds of Rental Housing Professionals to Visit California Capitol for Meetings with Legislators

SACRAMENTO, CA - Hundreds of representatives from the apartment business will head to the Capitol on Tuesday, March 10, for face-to-face meetings with legislators.

The afternoon meetings are part of the California Apartment Association's annual Legislative Conference and will come a week and a half after the deadline for lawmakers to propose bills for the 2015 session.

A wide range of CAA members will take part, from chief executives of multi-million dollar companies to mom-and-pop landlords to business people who provide goods and services to the multifamily-housing industry. All told, CAA represents more than 50,000 owners and industry professionals.

While meeting with lawmakers, the conference participants will discuss pending legislation relevant to the rental housing industry. They'll also tell lawmakers about the important role the rental housing industry plays in California's economy and in housing its growing workforce.
