NEW YORK, NY - Hunt Mortgage Group, a commercial real estate lender, announced today that Fortunat (Forty) Semadeni has joined the firm as Director and Chief FHA MAP Underwriter to help expand the firm’s FHA lending platform. He will be based in Dallas, Texas and will report to Greg Calvert, Senior Managing Director, Affordable Housing Credit at Hunt Mortgage Group.
“Forty will be responsible for underwriting FHA insured loans of all multifamily program types for clients nationwide,” commented Calvert. “He is a seasoned commercial real estate executive and is known as a skilled leader with a proven track record for FHA and MAP underwriting, and establishing FHA platforms. We are confident he will play a vital role in helping us achieve our growth goals with the FHA platform.”
Semadeni comes to Hunt Mortgage Group from ACRE Capital LLC where he was FHA Chief Underwriter and Vice President, a platform he built for the firm. Prior to that he was Deputy Chief Underwriter at Walker & Dunlop, LLC. Other positions he has held during the course of his career includes Associate FHA Underwriter at Arbor Commercial Mortgage, LLC, Fannie Mae Production Analyst at Lend Lease Mortgage Capital, and FHA Project Manager and Investment Analyst at GMAC Commercial Mortgage.
Semadeni attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
