Equity Residential and the Families of Woodland Park Apartments Kicked Off the Holiday Season at the Community's 2nd Annual Halloween Celebration

EAST PALO ALTO, CA - On Friday, October 24th, more than 400 parents and children gathered at Woodland Park Apartments to enjoy a family-friendly evening filled with festive fall activities at the community’s 2nd Annual Halloween Party, announced John Hyjer, First Vice president of Investments at Equity Residential. Hosted each year by Equity Residential, the annual event provides the residents of Woodland Park with a free, fun and safe Halloween celebration right in their own community.

Hosting the event a week in advance of Halloween Night allows the children to get a head start on the season while preserving the Hollowed Eve for neighborhood trick or treating and parties with family and friends. “The Annual Woodland Park Halloween Party is proving to be delight for our parents and their children and provides us with great opportunity to build a family oriented community where residents know one another,” said Hyjer. “We are committed to enhancing the quality of life of Woodland Park not only through physical property enhancements, but also via a consistent schedule of fun-filled events and activities for all residents,” he added.

On Friday, the courtyard at 5 Newell Court in Woodland Park was alive with parents and their children enjoying treats and refreshments and selecting the perfect pumpkin from the Woodland Park Pumpkin Patch that will be sure to entice trick or treaters of all ages on Halloween Night.
