Equity Residential and Nibbi Brothers Celebrate the Topping Out of Azure at Mission Bay

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Equity Residential and Nibbi Brothers General Contractors celebrated the topping out of Azure at Mission Bay, Equity Residential’s 16-story, for-lease, residential development featuring 273 residences, announced Peter Solar, Vice President of Development for Equity Residential. Located at 690 Long Bridge Street and adjacent to Mission Creek Park, the 396,200 square foot development is steeped in progressive urbanism with its connection to mass transit, and its close proximity to an ever-expanding base of creative and technology driven businesses.

According to Solar, “We brought together a brilliant team of local partners in the development and construction of Azure at Mission Bay, which has resulted in an innovative approach to a high-rise, urban living environment. Opening in Spring of 2015 and offering expansive 360-degree views, and a host of onsite amenities including outdoor courtyards, barbeques, a fire pit, bike storage and of course, a fitness center. There are less conventional amenities including a demonstration kitchen, bicycle repair room, pet wash and a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience open spaces or parks on three sides of the development. Azure will ultimately offer an unparalleled, for-lease living environment in Mission Bay.”

In addition to General Contractor Nibbi Brothers, The Azure at Mission Bay development team includes the firm of HKS Architects, interior architect NC2 Studio, and landscape architect Cliff Lowe Associates, all of San Francisco. Additional subcontractors on the development include Nibbi Concrete, Broadway Mechanical, Bay City Mechanical, Cupertino Electrical, RCM Fire, Morrow Equipment, Sheedy Drayage, Clipper International, Alamillo Rebar, Cemex, Interstate Concrete Pumping, and Aluma Systems.
