Sunrise Management Names Heidi Newhouse New Regional Manager for Las Vegas Office

SAN DIEGO, CA - To keep pace with growing demand in the region, Sunrise Management – which has specialized in the management of residential real estate since 1978 – has named Heidi Newhouse its new regional real estate manager for the Las Vegas office.

In her new role, Newhouse will lead a team overseeing an expanding portfolio of multifamily properties in the area. Additionally, she will oversee day-to-day activities of the regional office, as well as concentrate on increasing the San Diego-based firm’s Las Vegas market share.

With extensive experience in the Las Vegas market, she was previously a regional manager for Stout Management for nine years, overseeing 13 properties and nearly 2,000 units.  Newhouse also worked for Sentinel Real Estate Corp. in various positions for nearly 15 years and is a licensed real estate agent.

The addition of Newhouse is the latest milestone in the company’s steady growth in the region. Since opening a local office last year, Sunrise’s Las Vegas portfolio has grown to include eight properties totaling 1,495 units.

According to Joe Greenblatt, CEO and president of Sunrise Management, his company anticipates further expansion in the Las Vegas market.  “With apartment vacancies decreasing and rents on the rise, we believe the multifamily market here is poised for rapid growth.”
