Barry Hume Joins Boston Based Technology Startup Package Concierge as Co-Founder and President

BOSTON, MA - Package Concierge, Inc. a Boston based technology startup, is pleased to announce that Barry Hume has joined the company as Co-Founder and President.

Most recently, Barry was the Managing Director of Primal Manufacturing, a luxury packaging company where he started the US operations. Prior to that, Barry served for 14 years as President and CEO of Mats Inc., a high quality commercial flooring company, where he led a turnaround and built the business into one of the most successful niche flooring companies in the United States. Barry’s earlier experience also includes roles with KPMG Peat Marwick, Executive Perspectives and Pepsi-Cola.

Company Founder and CEO, Georgianna W. Oliver, states “Barry has a very keen business sense.  Coupled with his strategic insight and his proven ability to scale and build businesses, Barry will be a great asset to Package Concierge as we grow.  I am delighted to welcome him as a partner at the company.” 

Barry holds a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and an MBA from The Tuck School at Dartmouth. 

Package Concierge has developed an innovative digital locker technology to address the escalating challenges of package management in the multifamily and student housing markets. Founded this past year, the company currently has pilots in multiple cities across the United States.
