Matt Lawson Appointed President of Washington, DC Based UIP Property Management, Inc.

WASHINGTON, DC - Matt Lawson has joined The UIP Companies, Inc. of Washington, DC as President of UIP Property Management, Inc. He is responsible for all business operations of UIPPM and a portfolio of approximately 3,000 apartment homes in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Prior to joining The UIP Companies, Mr. Lawson operated his own real estate consulting firm, Lawson & Co. LLC. Before that, he managed day-to-day operations for two of the Washington area’s leading real estate development/management firms, Gates-Hudson and Horning Brothers. He also has served as a regional manager at The Shelter Group, with responsibility for a large multi-state portfolio.
