CHARLOTTE, NC - Riverside Investment & Development and Woodfield Development today announced that first move-ins are underway at VIVIAN, the 42-story residential tower at Queensbridge Collective. Rising prominently at 111 E. Carson Blvd., VIVIAN is now the second-tallest residential building in the Carolinas, marking a defining addition to Charlotte’s skyline and a major milestone for the mixed-use district connecting Uptown and South End.
“The completion of VIVIAN and the arrival of our first residents mark an important milestone for Queensbridge Collective and this key corridor connecting South End and Uptown Charlotte,” said Anthony Scacco, President, Riverside Investment & Development. “VIVIAN delivers a new standard of quality to one of the most vibrant intersections in the city, particularly in terms of our amenities and retail offering.”
Charlotte continues to rank among the fastest-growing metros in the Southeast, with strong population and employment growth driving sustained demand for housing across the urban core. Uptown and South End remain among the region’s most active multifamily submarkets, supported by ongoing in-migration and a deep employment base. More than 75,000 people call Charlotte Center City home, according to the 2026 State of the Center City report produced by Charlotte Center City Partners.
VIVIAN introduces 409 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences, ranging from 558 to 2,180 square feet, along with a limited collection of two and three-bedroom penthouses. The tower will be joined by a 43-story mixed-use office and residential tower at 1111 S. Tryon Street, which is currently under construction, with more than 20,000 square feet of retail, and 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity space.
Designed by internationally recognized architecture firm Goettsch Partners, the tower serves as both a residential landmark and a physical link between two of Charlotte’s most active neighborhoods. Interior design was led by Shelton Taylor Associates, with construction completed by Clark Construction Group.
“VIVIAN is one of the most consequential residential projects we have undertaken,” said Chad Hagler, developer partner at Woodfield Development. “At 42 stories, it changes the skyline. More importantly, it delivers new housing in a corridor that continues to see sustained population and employment growth. Projects of this scale require conviction in the market, and we believe Charlotte continues to justify that investment.”
The tower began leasing in late 2025 and welcomed its first residents this month.
Residences feature floor-to-ceiling windows, open layouts, Dekton countertops, modern cabinetry, matte black fixtures, integrated smart-home technology, and oversized balconies in select units.
Amenities are distributed across multiple levels of the building, including a ninth-floor fitness center with indoor and outdoor components, a 10th-floor resident lounge featuring bowling and virtual golf, and a 42nd-floor rooftop pool deck with grilling stations and panoramic skyline views.
VIVIAN at Queensbridge Collective will also be home to Guard and Grace, the MICHELIN Guide-recommended modern steakhouse led by Chef Troy Guard, scheduled to open on the 10th floor in fall 2026. The 10,224-square-foot restaurant will include a 2,000-square-foot outdoor terrace, private dining areas, and direct connections to both the public and residential components of the development.
