Essex Capital Markets Closes Over $23.9 Million in Final Month of 2025 Reflecting Team’s Continued Momentum in Multifamily Market

CHICAGO, IL - Essex Capital Markets closed out 2025 with a strong finish in December, reflecting the team’s continued momentum, expanding platform, and client-first execution across a wide range of multifamily capital needs.

In December, the Essex Capital Markets team facilitated six multifamily loans totaling approximately $23.9 million across 153 units. The month was highlighted by the $15.5 million financing of a 58-unit Logan Square portfolio, along with additional assignments tied to assets in West Town, Portage Park, Lake Bluff, and Addison.

The year-end activity was led by Asher Motew, Quinn Keenan, and Elliott Quigley.

Essex Capital Markets’ results are driven by a relationship-first approach and deep lender access across banks, credit unions, agencies, and debt funds. The team combines disciplined underwriting with hands-on process management—helping sponsors navigate everything from refinances and acquisitions to recapitalizations and portfolio financings with speed, clarity, and certainty of execution.

“I think the year-end activity really shows who we are at ECM; one of the premier middle market providers of tailored capital markets solutions in Chicago. These transactions were across a wide range of size and complexity but had a common thread: The best solution for the client, providing competitive pricing and leverage and also the right fit with a lending provider. Weather the loan is under $1 million or a portfolio of over $60 million, our discipline and our client focused approach is the same,” said Managing Director Elliott Quigley.

Essex Capital Markets serves as a trusted capital advisory partner for multifamily owners and operators, focused on improving execution—from initial pricing and lender selection to structuring terms that match each sponsor’s goals and business plan. Each engagement is tailored to the client and the asset, with a solutions-oriented approach designed to deliver certainty, flexibility, and long-term value.
