MIAMI, FL - ANF, a leading South Florida-based construction and development firm, is proud to announce that it has been named the construction manager for Rhapsody at Rainbow Village, a transformative $185 million mixed-use affordable housing development located in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place on June 5th and was attended by notable leaders and dignitaries including Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Miami-Dade County District 3 Commissioner Keon Hardemon, City of Miami District 5 Commissioner Christine King, Miami-Dade County Housing and Community Development Interim Director Nathan Kogon, and Housing Trust Group President and CEO Matthew Rieger.
Developed by Housing Trust Group (HTG), Rhapsody at Rainbow Village marks a significant milestone in Miami-Dade County’s efforts to expand access to quality affordable housing. ANF is serving as the project’s construction manager and has commenced construction on what will become one of the region’s largest affordable housing communities. Completion is expected in the first quarter of 2027.
“Rhapsody at Rainbow Village is more than a construction project, it is a transformational investment in Miami’s future,” said Al Fernandez, CEO of ANF. “We’re honored to partner with Housing Trust Group to bring this bold vision to life and help create a new chapter for Miami’s historic Overtown neighborhood — one that delivers high-quality and affordable housing for those who need it the most.”
Located at 2000 NW 3rd Ave., the 698,000-square-foot development will include 310 affordable apartments and nearly 12,000 square feet of retail. The development will offer an array of resident-focused amenities including a resort-style swimming pool, business center, fitness center, daycare, playground, courtyards, theatre room, juice bar, bike storage, study areas, and a community center with kitchen.
