HOUSTON, TX - Allied Realty has named Hollie Kleitz as its new Vice President. Ms. Kleitz will oversee investment and asset management functions of Allied's multifamily portfolio as the company launches its $60 million private equity fund to develop, build and manage multifamily assets in the target markets of Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio.
Ms. Kleitz will work closely with Allied's development team to underwrite potential investments, identify capital sources and manage portfolio level reporting to investors throughout the life cycle of the fund. She will also work closely with Allied's property management division, Orion Real Estate Services, Inc., to ensure that the operational strategy of the portfolio is aligned with capital and real estate market conditions in order to maximize returns to fund investors.
Prior to joining Allied Realty, Ms. Kleitz oversaw an equity fund portfolio of 20,000+ multifamily units with capitalization in excess of $2.2 billion as Vice President of Asset Management at TriMont Real Estate Advisors in Atlanta, GA. She brings more than 13 years of multifamily capital markets and investment management experience to the Allied team. Ms. Kleitz began her career with Prudential’s Real Estate Investment Bank in New York working on private equity placements, CMBS securitizations and IPOs of commercial real estate firms. She transferred to Atlanta in 2001 as part of Prudential Mortgage Capital’s multifamily originations team. Later, she joined Collateral Mortgage Capital (now Grandbridge Real Estate Capital) to originate Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, conduit and balance sheet loans. Ms. Kleitz earned a BBA with Departmental Honors in Finance from the Gatton School of Business and Economics with a Minor in Statistics from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY.
