Trammell Crow Residential Announces Alexan Creekside Multifamily Project in The Woodlands, TX

HOUSTON, TX - With its proximity to both central Houston and The Woodlands, one of the fastest growing communities in the country and a neighbor to the new Exxon Mobil campus, Tomball is becoming increasingly popular with homebuilders.  Its convenience and relative value was equally attractive to Trammell Crow Residential, one of America’s premier multifamily real estate firms, who are looking to give potential buyers and transplants a well-priced and well-appointed rental alternative in the sought after area.

The Dallas-based company broke ground on Alexan Creekside in early February and plans delivery of the first of its 380 units, ranging in size from 691 to 1,396 square feet and featuring one, two and three-bedroom floorplans, in late 2013.  The construction price is undisclosed.  Trammell Crow Residential has several other multifamily developments in various stages of construction throughout Houston, including Allusion West University, The Muse, Alexan Heights and Alexan Enclave.

Framed by towering pines, the project occupies a prime, 20.49-acre parcel on the southwest corner of Kuykendahl and Hufsmith Roads, adjacent to the Village of Creekside Park addition of The Woodlands and near the new HEB-anchored Creekside Park Village Center, a 100-acre, mixed-use development with central plaza.

The picturesque Craftsmen-style architecture of the Creekside Park Village Center continues at Alexan Creekside, which will feature a façade of brick, stone and siding; staggered rooflines; and varying elevations of two and three stories, punctuated with thoughtful period details.

The spacious residences will be outfitted with preferred offerings such as walk-in closets, full size washers/dryers and oversized garden tubs; wood vinyl floors in the kitchen, living and dining areas; plus tile flooring in bathrooms.  The chef-friendly kitchens will offer USB charging stations, task lighting, pantries, stainless appliances with double door refrigerators, hardwood cabinetry with 42” uppers, stone or glass-tiled backsplashes and granite countertops with large, under-mount sinks.  Select first floor units will also provide the bonus of fenced backyards, while other apartment homes will incorporate private patios and balconies, expanding space for living and entertaining.

The retreat feel continues with a myriad of shared amenities like a state-of-the-art fitness center and WiFi equipped clubhouse encompassing a demonstration kitchen and game room, as well as a resort-style courtyard with two swimming pools and recreation area. The pet friendly project will also feature a fully fenced dog park and wash station.
