MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Minneapolis-based Timberland Partners has acquired Lakeside Park Apartments, a 192 unit community located in Shelby Township, Michigan and Avalon Hills Apartments, a 276 unit community located in Omaha, Nebraska.
Lakeside Park is located within Macomb County in the affluent northern suburban area of Detroit, MI. The community provides easy access to Sterling Heights, M-59, M-53 and is within walking distance to desirable shopping and dining. Timberland Partners currently owns and manages two additional apartment communities in Ann Arbor, MI and one additional apartment community in Howell, MI which total 1,153 units.
Constructed in 1994, Lakeside Park is a “Class B” apartment community in a “Class A” location. The community is comprised of 40 one bedroom, 112 two bedroom and 40 three bedroom apartments. Lakeside Park consists of 24 two story buildings with wood frame construction and vinyl siding.
