Industry Veteran Whittaker Potts Joins Cushman & Wakefield Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group as Executive Managing Director

KANSAS CITY, MO - Cushman & Wakefield announced that the commercial real estate services firm has hired Whittaker Potts to join the firm’s Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group. Potts will be based in the firm’s Kansas City office, serving as Executive Managing Director, and will be responsible for multifamily investment sales throughout Kansas and Missouri.

“Whitt will play a pivotal role in building out our Central States team and platform,” said Craig Hey, a Vice Chair with Cushman & Wakefield’s Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group. “He will work alongside our experienced advisors Martin Bynum, Cole Herget, Matt Stephens, and Stephen Pestinger to cover multifamily sales throughout Arkansas, Missouri, Southern Illinois, Kansas, and Oklahoma.”

“I am excited to join a team deeply entrenched in the Sunbelt region and expand the firm’s multifamily presence in conjunction with my colleagues. The Central States team continues to see strong fundamentals and investment opportunities that can be offered to investors,” added Potts.

Potts brings with him extensive experience focused on acquisitions and dispositions, valuation analysis marketing strategies, and understanding current market fundamentals. He has also worked as an independent contractor for several of the largest oil and gas companies around the nation, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions. Whittaker graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies, and currently holds a real estate license in both Kansas and Missouri.
