MEB Management Founder and Real Estate Leader Libby Ekre Appointed President of The Institute of Real Estate Management

PHOENIX, AZ - Libby Ekre, founding principal of MEB Management Services and Arizona real estate leader, was recently inducted as the president of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Ekre will serve a one-year term as president to support IREM on a national and local level.

Founded in 1934, IREM is an international institute for property and asset managers in commercial and residential real estate. IREM provides its 20,000 members with opportunities for learning, gaining certifications, and networking with other industry professionals.

As president, Ekre is responsible for leading the board of directors, appointing volunteers to IREM standing committees, advisory councils, and task forces, overseeing the yearly budget, acting as a mentor to junior members, and cultivating strong relationships between the board, its members and the community.

With nearly 30 years of industry experience and extensive involvement in IREM, Ekre was a clear choice for presidency. Prior to taking the role of president, Ekre was actively involved in the local Phoenix chapter and served as vice president.
