MILWAUKEE, WI - M&R Development has announced the grand opening of 2929 on Mayfair, a 258-unit luxury apartment building just west of Milwaukee at 2929 N. Mayfair Road, in Wauwatosa, Wis. M&R co-developed the project with Campbell Capital Group, and the building is managed by the award-winning property management firm RMK Management.
Located just down the street from The Mayfair Collection, a popular 69-acre mixed-used development with an eclectic mix of shopping, dining and entertainment, 2929 on Mayfair marks the third time in three years that Chicago-based M&R Development has opened a new apartment community in Wisconsin. The community has already started welcoming first move-ins.

Just as the developer will be bringing fresh apartment stock to the area with amenities and design touches that might be new for many of the building’s residents, Rossi said the high level of service and event programming created by the property’s management team should also create a buzz among renters. “With RMK Management overseeing leasing and management of the property, we know residents will be well taken care of as the firm did an excellent job opening our other two new communities in Wisconsin, 42 Hundred on the Lake just south of Milwaukee, and Elevate in Madison. Residents at 2929 on Mayfair can choose from studio, convertible, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments measuring 453 to 1,282 square feet with starting rents ranging from $1,250 to $2,610.
All apartments feature kitchens with white quartz countertops, contemporary tile backsplash, modern two-tone cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, including a backless range and French door refrigerator. Apartments also include Ecobee smart thermostats, 9-foot ceilings, lighted ceiling fans in the bedrooms, full-size washer and dryers, and a balcony or patio. Select units include a “cloffice,” which is a hybrid closet and office that can serve as a professional workspace with minimal footprint.
A three-story clubhouse is at the center of the community with an adjoining courtyard and outdoor pool. The pool features a sun shelf and cabanas, outdoor kitchen with grilling stations, fire pits and lounge seating. The shared spaces include an entertainment kitchen, 24-hour coffee bar, lounge with an 85-inch television, a club room with a billiards table, state-of the art fitness center, a fitness studio/yoga room, a business center with private conference rooms and workstations, a pet washing station with grooming table and dryer, and a 24-hour self-service package room. The building also includes a three-level parking garage with car wash and electric vehicle charging stations; storage lockers; and a complimentary bike sharing station with personal bike storage and repair station. The community also provides 24-hour emergency maintenance.

2929 on Mayfair marks the third apartment building to be completed in Wisconsin since 2020 by M&R Development.
