Affordable Housing Organization Alta Housing Adds Industry Veteran Stephanie Shipe as Vice President of Property Management

PALO ALTO, CA - Alta Housing (formerly Palo Alto Housing), a community-based affordable housing organization, announced today the addition of Stephanie Shipe as Vice President, Property Management. Shipe brings 15 years of affordable housing property management experience and most recently served as the Director of Portfolio Management for the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda, California. 

As Vice President, Property Management at Alta Housing, Shipe will manage over 1,000 units and a team of 35 professionals.

"Stephanie is passionate about helping people and providing them with safe, well-maintained housing.  She is committed to Alta Housing's resident retention policy of working with residents and resident services to make sure residents are able to stay in their home. We know she will be a tremendous asset to the Alta Housing team.”

Before holding the Director of Portfolio Management position at the City of Alameda's Housing Authority, Shipe served as the Director of Operations at MidPen Housing, a non-profit developer, owner and manager of affordable housing in Northern California and was appointed to the City of Alameda Housing Authority's Board of Commissioners. As a Board Commissioner, she assisted in the development of the five-year strategic plan for the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda.

Shipe graduated from the University of San Francisco in San Francisco, California, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management.
