Sunrise Management Expands Northern California Team with Multifamily Veteran Beth Smith

SACRAMENTO, CA - San Diego-based Sunrise Management has expanded its Northern California team, adding Elizabeth Smith, CPM, as a new regional property manager in its growing Sacramento office.

As property manager, Smith will concentrate on overseeing and increasing the firm’s Northern California market share – directing long-term marketing, strategic planning and day-to-day activities.

A 22-year veteran of the multifamily industry, Smith was most recently operations manager with Woodside Management Group, where she oversaw the operations of 11 multifamily communities encompassing more than 1,500 units throughout central and southern California. A member of the Institute for Real Estate Management (IREM), she earned her certified property manager (CPM) designation in 2007.

The addition of Smith is the latest milestone in the company’s steady Northern California expansion. Since Sunrise’s Sacramento office opened last March, it has grown from nine to 33 full and part-time employees.
Recent additions to the Northern California portfolio include River Oaks Apartments in Sacramento and Estancia Apartments, Lucera Apartments and Cedarwood Apartments in Santa Rosa bringing the company’s portfolio in Northern California to 12 properties encompassing 1,300 units.

With expanded operations in the region, the company is poised for steady growth throughout Sacramento, Santa Rosa, Fairfax and beyond.
