MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Anthony Hebenstreit and Robert Ryan of Colliers Mortgage’s McLean, Virginia and Buffalo, New York offices recently originated two Fannie Mae refinance transactions totaling over $9 million. Evergreen Terrace is a 195-unit market rate multifamily property located in Hyattsville, Maryland. Ballston Court is a 36-unit market rate multifamily property located in Arlington, Virginia. Both loans carry 10-year terms.
“Despite interest rate volatility driven by the fight against inflation, Fannie Mae continues to be a reliable source of customizable, cost-efficient, non-recourse debt capital,” shared Hebenstreit. Adding, “Demand continues to outpace supply in the Greater Washington, DC rental market. The communities, which are near major employers, public transportation, retail, and commuter thoroughfares, provide residents with a superior value, scoring well on all key affordability metrics.”
