Calvera Partners Targets $100 Million in Capital Commitments for New Income and Growth Fund to Acquire Multifamily Properties

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Calvera Partners, a national real estate investor and operator with offices in San Francisco, CA and Minneapolis, MN, announces the launch of its fourth discretionary private real estate fund, the Calvera Income and Growth Fund (the “Fund”). The Fund is seeking more than $100 million in capital commitments from accredited investors to acquire a diversified portfolio of income-producing multifamily properties in high-growth markets.

The Fund is structured as a perpetual “evergreen” investment vehicle, eliminating the need for a predetermined liquidity event of the underlying properties. Based on feedback from seasoned high-net-worth investors and limited partners in previous Calvera funds, the new Fund structure allows Calvera to take a long-term approach to multifamily investment opportunities.

“Our experience shows that real estate investing is most successful when a long-term strategy is in place,” said Calvera Managing Principal David Saxe. “We believe that this perpetual fund structure means that taxable gains can be deferred indefinitely, all while keeping our investors’ money working over an extended period of time. It’s an ideal scenario for those who seek a tax-efficient, wealth-building strategy.”

The Fund is also designed to provide current income through consistent quarterly distributions, as well as significant appreciation in NAV, achieved through Calvera’s strategic asset management, branding, operational and physical improvements, and rigorous market selection. Ultimately, the goal of the Calvera Income and Growth Fund is to create an institutional-quality portfolio of apartment properties where technology and sustainability upgrades will “future-proof” the assets and target above-market returns to every Fund investor. In addition, Calvera intends to leverage the Fund to unlock efficiencies of scale through common branding and the creation of modern tenant amenities across the portfolio.

Accredited investors are invited to attend an interactive webinar on Wednesday, March 22nd at 10AM PST. The hour-long session will provide an overview of the Calvera Income and Growth Fund and provide an opportunity to discuss Fund details with the Calvera management team.
