Weidner Apartment Homes Expands in Oklahoma City Multifamily Market with Acquisition of 398-Unit Sycamore Farms

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Weidner Apartment Homes, a real estate investment and property management company and creative developer of new housing, acquired Sycamore Farms Apartments in Oklahoma City, OK, on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. This acquisition marks Weidner’s 11th community in Oklahoma City and their 20th property in OK.

Sycamore Farms sits on 24.07 acres and is a 398-unit garden-style community that comprises 21 buildings and 594 parking spaces. In the northern edge of the Oklahoma City metro, Sycamore Farms shares a property line with Weidner’s other community, Residence at North Penn Apartment Homes. Additionally, the property is a few miles from four other Weidner-owned and managed communities. This acquisition strengthens Weidner’s presence in north Oklahoma City, as they now own 7,528 units in the region.

The northern Oklahoma City submarket is highlighted by the 190-acre, mixed-use, master-planned community of Chisholm Creek and the existing Quail Springs Mall. Residents experience fantastic accessibility to several grocers in the immediate area, including Sam’s Club, Target, and Costco. Entertainment can be found at Top Golf and several nearby restaurants, bars, and other entertainment options. Sycamore Farms offers a blend of quieter suburban living with downtown excitement.
