Dave Yampolsky Joins UIP General Contracting as Vice President of Marketing & Business Development

WASHINGTON, DC - Dave Yampolsky has joined UIP General Contracting Inc. (UIPGC) of Washington, DC as Vice President of Marketing & Business Development for UIPGC and its subsidiary UnitTurns, LLC.

Well known to the DC real estate community through his seven years of multifamily residential asset, property, and executive management experience, Mr. Yampolsky most recently worked for the National Hockey League (NHL) in New York City.

Before joining the NHL in 2010, Mr. Yampolsky worked with UIPGC affiliate UIP Property Management, Inc., ultimately serving as Senior Vice President, where he was responsible for the management of more than 2,500 multifamily residential units in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

A graduate of Dickinson College, Mr. Yampolsky received an Outstanding Leadership Award from the Apartment and Office Building Association of Metropolitan Washington (AOBA) in 2010.

“We couldn’t be happier that we were able to lure Dave back from the NHL in order to help take UIPGC to the next level,” said Heath Wilkinson, President, UIPGC. “UIPGC has extensive knowledge and demonstrated success renovating and constructing buildings in the DC market, and as a result UIPGC has been approached by numerous condominium associations, cooperatives, and nonprofits over the past several years to help them upgrade and update their properties.  This experience has motivated us to market our wealth of experience, knowledge, and services to the public. Dave will play a vital role in helping us achieve that goal.”

Since its founding, UIPGC has completed over $70 million worth of successful renovations for its parent, The UIP Companies, Inc., and various third party clients in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. This work includes multifamily property renovations, ground-up construction, and both residential and commercial interiors. For more information, visit www.uipgc.com and www.unitturns.com.
