MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The Minneapolis office of Colliers Mortgage, part of Colliers International | U.S., recently closed a $53 million HUD 223(f) loan for a repeat client for the refinancing of Chamberlain Apartments located in Richfield, Minnesota.
The 316-unit multifamily property is a mixed-income project with 20% of units rented as affordable at 50% or below the area median income and the remaining units rented at market rates. In 2018 Colliers Mortgage provided a HUD 221(d)(4) loan for the new construction and substantial rehabilitation of the existing property.
Property amenities include a clubhouse, game room, fitness center, outdoor pool with sun deck and cabanas, grilling areas, adventure playground, underground parking, dog run and pet wash.
The loan carries a 35-year term/amortization and was arranged for borrower, Chamberlain Apartments, LLC.
