CHARLOTTE, NC - Alliance Residential Company, one of the largest multifamily developers in the nation, has closed on 2.92 acres located at 8430 N. Tryon Street in Charlotte, North Carolina, for the development of Prose McCullough Station, a 279-unit apartment community steps from the LYNX Blue Line light rail station the apartment community is named for. The first residents will be welcomed in fall 2023.
This is the first property in Charlotte under the Prose brand for Alliance Residential Company. Prose is Alliance’s new housing concept that creates attainable homes within close proximity to high growth employment corridors.

Designed by architect Cline Design, Prose McCullough Station will have a total of 279 units in a five-story, wrap-style building including approximately 60% one-bedroom units ranging in size from 663 to 854 square feet, and 40% two-bedroom units ranging from 950 to 1,206 square feet. The residences will feature granite countertops, vinyl plank flooring, stainless steel appliances, Shaker-style cabinetry, and nine-foot ceilings.
Community amenities will include a 24-hour fitness facility, resort-style pool, outdoor lounges and grilling stations, pet park, co-working space, and structured parking. The community will be entirely smoke-free.
Located near large employers Atrium Health University City and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, as well as light rail public transit, I-85, I-485 and other major arterials, the property is within 25 minutes or less of Charlotte’s booming business districts and amenities.
